I love me some tea! I have at least one glass of tea a day because it’s great for you and I love the taste. I have a few different varieties of tea that I like to keep on hand at all times. I wanted to show you which ones I like and why I can’t live without them!
This is tea is a major part of my morning routine. I used to rely on coffee and energy drinks to get my morning boost but I found that they triggered my anxiety too much. Weening myself off of those highly caffeinated drinks was not an easy task. However, once I switch over to natural green tea, I found myself not missing them at all. I love the natural boost of caffeine that this tea gives me. I can’t go through my morning without it!
This is my tea that I will normally choose after a stressful day or just winding down for the night. The chamomile and lavender are great for relaxing a busy mind. I love this tea if I’m needing a bit of calming down.
This tea also contains chamomile but I use this one for an entirely different scenario. When I was younger, my dad always used to give me this tea when I had a sore throat or an upset stomach. Of course I was younger and not quite accustomed to the natural earthy taste of tea so he would sneak in some honey. When I have a sore throat now I prepare myself the same tea. I find it does a great job soothing my throat.
This last tea is one I’ve repurchased now again and again. Recently, the new trend is the detox teas that you see celebrities promoting all over the internet. I found my own, cheaper, version of their detox tea. Dandelion root is a great natural way to detox. I use this whenever I’ve maybe eaten too much (aka Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities) or when I’ve eaten not so healthy. I highly recommend this tea for those of you who want the effects of a big name brand detox tea but don’t want to spend the money.
