Working in an office that is too far away from my house to come home for lunch has definitely taught me to plan ahead and get creative when it comes to my packed lunches. Last week I decided to try out a new recipe and I really enjoyed it! I tried out a quick and easy Asian Salad recipe. I whipped this together in less than 20 minutes Sunday night and it made enough for my whole week. I just packaged it all up in Tupperware and grabbed it quick every morning. Bonus fact, it was super cheap to make this recipe so the fact that it lasted the whole week was insane!
Here is what you’ll need :
One bag of Dole Coleslaw Mix
Two packages of Oriental Style Ramen Noodles
One small can of Mandarin Oranges
Handful of Sliced Almonds
1/3 cup of White Vinegar
1/3 cup of Vegetable Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
How to whip it all up :
Combine the salt, pepper, vegetable oil, white vinegar, a dash of the mandarin orange juice, and oriental style ramen powder.
Mix the coleslaw, uncooked ramen noodles, drained mandarin oranges, & almonds.
Combine the two mixtures and stir it all together.
