Smoothie Recipes – My Top Three

Hello you, and welcome to inside the mind of an Obsessive Compulsive Designer.

With summer around the corner, I wanted to take today to talk all about my top three smoothie recipes. I don’t think you can really go wrong with smoothies but there are some recipes that I end up craving way more than others. My cravings definitely depend on the time of day it is as well. For instance, this first recipe is my go to in the morning because it gives me a great caffeine boost.

Morning Pick-Me-Up

1 banana

1 small handful of frozen green grapes

1-2 cups of almond milk (depending on how you like your consistency)

1 tablespoon of flaxseed

½ tablespoon of coffee grounds (feel free to add more if you’re a coffee junky)

1 pinch of cinnamon

*Blend

Tropical Refresher

1 banana

½ green grape

1 handful of greens

½ cup of pineapple

½ cup of frozen blueberries

1-2 cups of almond milk (depending on how you like your consistency)

1 tablespoon of flaxseed

*Blend

 

 

The OG Strawberry Banana – (great for satisfying that evening sweet tooth)

1 banana

1 cup of frozen strawberries

1-2 cups of almond milk (depending on how you like your consistency)

1 tablespoon of flaxseed

½ tablespoon of vanilla extract

*Blend
