Hello you, and welcome to inside the mind of an Obsessive Compulsive Designer

Yes, you read that right. Finally the last Christmas party of 2016 has come and past! This last party was just a smaller gathering between family members so luckily I could get away with not dressing up too much. These over the knee boots are a brand new purchase for me and I’m obsessed with them. I decided to pair them with my olive leggings (incorporating Christmas the most I can in January) and an oversized sweatshirt from Victoria’s Secret. This made for an extremely cozy party outfit! It seems like this trend of over the knee boots and oversized jackets/sweatshirts is everywhere nowadays. I’m loving it! If it wasn’t the dead of winter and I had a longer sweatshirt I definitely could’ve gotten away without the leggings. Be on the lookout for more outfit posts coming soon with these boots!

Girl’s Shopping Trip OOTD

Sweater : Charlotte Russe  |  Leggings : Charlotte Russe  |  Shoes  : Charlotte Russe  |

|  Hat : Nordstrom Rack  |

Hello you, and welcome to inside the mind of an Obsessive Compulsive Designer

A much needed girls shopping trip was needed after this busy holiday season. I finally broke out some of that holiday cash/gift cards that accumulated over the holiday and put it to good use. (No worries, a haul is coming soon.) Knowing full well that I wanted to get some clothes, I made sure my outfit was easy to slip on and off to try clothes on. My go-to winter wardrobe consists of booties, leggings, and sweaters. Naturally, I had to break out this cute little sweater I recently purchased. I’m partial to the all black look, so I finished it off with black in various materials. I’m in love with these leather leggings. I really need to pick up some more! And these little black booties are a must for shopping. I love the height of the heel because it gives you the cute look of heels but at a comfortable height (which is so crucial when traipsing through the mall all day).

Off-The-Shoulder Sweater OOTD

Sweater : Charlotte Russe  |  Jeans : Charlotte Russe  |  Shoes  : Bonanza (similar) |

With this winter weather subsiding for a bit, I decided to break out this new sweater I recently hauled. I love the versatility of it! It can be worn off-the-shoulder (like I’m wearing it) or as a cowl neck sweater. It’s like having two sweaters for the price of one! I paired it with these new jeans from my last clothing haul as well and these over the knee boots. If you know me, you know I don’t venture too far without these beautiful little boots in the winter!

We decided to try and be cute with bringing the little one out for some pictures. She did not cooperate as well this time. Too much going on outside! Haha!

Which way would you prefer to wear this sweater, cowl neck or off-the-shoulder? Comment below!

Comfy Movie OOTD

Shirt : Charlotte Russe  |  Leggings : Charlotte Russe  |  Shoes  : Bonanza (similar) |

|  Scarf : Charlotte Russe  |

Hello you, and welcome to inside the mind of an Obsessive Compulsive Designer

Colder temperatures call for cozy movie nights. I was definitely ready to cuddle up in a big fuzzy blanket and binge watch some movies. (Marvel movies to be exact.) I picked up these extremely comfy clothes in a recent Charlotte Russe haul I posted last week. (Check it out here!) These leggings were so cheap but are such good quality. They are much thicker than I would’ve guessed they’d be, which is great in the winter and when you have shirts that may ride up and not cover enough (if you feel my drift). This shirt, however, covers the leggings perfectly. It comes down further in the front and the back. Also, the fabric is to die for. I live for shirts with this kind of fabric. They are so soft and perfect PJ shirts. The scarf is a really nice blanket material and super thick. I’ve been looking for another thick infinity scarf since I can’t seem to find my usual go-to scarf. I was clearly in an olive mood when I bought all these. I paired this outfit with my over the knee brown boots to add a bit of warmth to the outfit. These boots are extremely warm and comfy. I love how this outfit looks together and it was super comfy for a movie marathon!
